August 24, 2016, 9:30 am – 10:30 am
Each year, a quarter of the working population undergoes some type of career transition. The Bureau of Labor Statistics, reported that 20 years ago the average number of jobs held by one person in their career was 6. Today, the average number of jobs held is 11. Turnover statistics, including the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), can show as high as 50% in the first 18 months of employment. And according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the amount of money it takes in replacing an employee is over 25% of their salary, some say 50%.
Onboarding is crucial within the first year and more than just an orientation. Onboarding is a process that can directly affect your turnover rate and employee engagement. High turnover rates generally come from poor onboarding and it is safe to say with these statistics, getting it wrong can be costly.
These are all great reasons for joining us during this webinar to examine what a successful onboarding program entails.
