LassiterWare selected for Philanthropic Corporation of the Year

Friday, November 3, 2017

Sumter Sunshine Community Foundation notified LassiterWare on Friday, November 3, 2017, that LassiterWare was selected for the Philanthropic Corporation of the Year Award.  Doug Childers, LassiterWare’s CEO, could not be more proud of LassiterWare employees (respectfully referred to as family).

LassiterWare Cares foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that was started and funded by LassiterWare employees in efforts to make a difference. From getting sidewalks poured from the school to the ball field at Beverly Shores Elementary School in Leesburg, packing food with Deliver the Difference, donating financially to the Safe Animal Shelter in Jacksonville, Second Harvest Food Bank in Maitland, Marion Disaster Relief in Ocala and Hillsborough Education Foundation in Tampa (to name a few missions of philanthropy) it is clear that LassiterWare Cares!

A representative of LassiterWare will be accepting the Philanthropic Corporation of the Year Award at the Sumter Sunshine Community Foundation’s 3rd Annual Celebration of Giving Ceremony on November 18, 2017 in Wildwood, Florida.
